From the Field: Meg Whyte's Juliana Quincy

Words: Meg Whyte

I live in deep rural Shropshire where the roads are pothole-ridden and bridleways are in abundance. A network of canal paths nearby and single tracks from the door means I rarely crunch road miles. I was looking for something to ride off-road, with comfort being paramount, and wanted something extra special so I did some research before landing on the Juliana Quincy.

I first made it my own with 650b wheels but have also started riding the Easton 700c EC90 AXs for a different feel. Some bling finishing touches from my sponsors have really made it a unique ride.

The Quincy has been a great tool to stay fit, exploring my local area, and has even improved my basic bike skills! As a downhill and enduro racer it was very difficult to hear that mountain biking would be restricted for the foreseeable future so I'm grateful for my Quincy for giving me the freedom needed during these very strange times.

Meg's setup:

Frame: Quincy CC 49cm

Wheels: EC90 AX, 700c

Groupset: SRAM Rival 1x11 10- 42 cassette hydraulic disc brake 160mm rotors

Cockpit: Easton EC70 AX handlebar, 38cm / Easton EA90 SL stem, 80mm

Crankset: Race Face SixC, 165mm

Bar Tape: Easton Microfiber, black

Seatpost: EC90 SL

Pedals: Crankbrothers Candy 3

Saddle: SDG Bellair 3
