The man behind the spray gun, Lucas Strain, doesn't often get to paint them for himself. For his new Allied Cycle Works ALLROAD theme, Lucas turned to Alien. "It's one of my favorite sci-fi movies and this is a tribute to Sigourney Weaver and her badass character in the movie."⁠

Lucas has been racing with Easton Cycling support under a number of banners over the past two years, and while this is his first ALLIED, he’s been riding our EC90 SL wheelset, EC90 SL Cranks and EC90 SLX and EA90 SL cockpit for much of that time.

His EC90 SL wheelset has done many jobs, from road to cyclocross, and complement his crit-tested EC90 Aero55 wheels to make his ALLROAD a versatile crit machine. With the XDR replacement freehub, he has switched from Shimano to SRAM, and though the mullet build can use any of our 1x chainrings, he has paired the MTB AXS chain with the new Flattop compatible FLT 12 speed ring.
