Christmas 'Cross (a.k.a. Kerstperiode) is a wrap!

If you aren't as familiar with Belgian cyclocross culture, the Kerstperiode is basically the time in between Christmas Day and New Year's when there's pretty much a 'cross race (party) every day. From Zolder to Diegem, these are some of the biggest fields, rowdiest crowds, and loudest races of the season. Let's just say the Belgians aren't too conservative with their Jupiler consumption over the holidays.

MVDH and our trusty wrench, Avery, headed over as a part of the Cycling Canada project. On top of building up two new sweet Giant TCX's, they also hit up 5 races in just nine days. Despite the busy schedule, Michael landed a series of his best Euro performances to date.

"I'm really happy with how this block went. After a few times overseas where I just wasn't seeing the improvement I was aiming for, I felt like I broke through to the next level on this trip. I'm really excited to take this to Worlds in under a month." -Michael van den Ham

MVDH RESULT HIGHLIGHTS
Namur World Cup - 32nd Elite Men
Zolder World Cup - 37th Elite Men
Azencross Loenhout- 25th Elite Men
Diegem - 24th Elite Men
Bredene- 17th Elite Men
